Samui Global Mala is a one day community festival held annually to raise funds and garner awareness for environmental and social issues on Koh Samui and to promote health and well being for the island, its inhabitants and visitors.

Samui's Mala is part of the Yoga Mala tradition which is a global event designed to act as the world wide Yoga community's contribution to the United Nation's International Day of Peace and takes place on the Fall Equinox.

The Samui Global Mala event includes:

• Environmental Education Seminars
• Health & Wellness Seminars
• Hands on Sustainable Living Workshops
• Yoga Workshops
• Local Sustainable Living Related Information & Retail Booths
• Educational Activities & Workshops for Children
• Food & Entertainment

All funds raised at the event (from admission fees, sales and donations) will go directly to support environmental and children's programs on Koh Samui.
